Ideation stage

I went ahead and grabbed the one i thought was interesting, the shape I picked is a futuristic jet that would break sound of course and max out on mach 6 or 7 depending on how far in the future this is, our current max is Mach 5 unless something changed : ( but here are some various ideations and shapes I will most likely be picking one soon and creating a full set of designs by next so give me your votes guys!!!!

Vehicle Design Thumbnails

I started to make approaches like Scott Robertson and start to find cool shapes and thick in thin designs to attract the eye. I really just wanted to find one great shaped that i like and go to town with it and to also figure out which vehicle would be good and what type, all these vehicle can be anything from a hover craft to a submarine and a plane. If you guys have any suggestions on which one you want to see come alive let me know :)

The critique low down

Jia, explains that you shouldn't place any objects in the center of your piece unless you have a story for it, because that will effect the composition of the painting and lead the eye some where else. He explains that you would need to create several more and to make these shapes turn and have value changes while still holding up the values of the design and composition stay the same. here is an example of what he meant and how he actually changed my painting. He gave me advice not to use to much light until the end and use a 20 or a 15 as your lightest, while curves are great if you need to adjust the values quickly.
